As women of faith, we need to look upon the finished work of Christ in order to gain clarity of the spiritual Truth of Scripture. Hebrews 12:2 is the verse that is the launching point of this discussion: “… looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

This lesson explores our identity in Christ. If we don’t know Jesus, we won’t understand who we are because of Him. If we don’t understand what His sacrifice on the cross did for us, we can’t live out our divine calling in order to fulfill His will for our lives. And if we don’t see who we are in Him, others won’t see Him through us.
