Statement of Faith
First and foremost, I unapologetically stand on and teach from the living, active Word of God.
I believe that through the study and application of the Truths in the Bible we are able to be changed in mighty ways. I believe in the promises of God as well as His warnings. I do not believe in watering down or sugar-coating the messages contained within the Holy Scriptures.
I believe that we cannot become more like Jesus without God's amazing grace and His indwelling presence.
I praise God for Who He is, for sending Jesus to die on my behalf and for the Spirit who is my comfort and my guide. I especially thank God that He doesn’t give me what I truly deserve as a sinner--eternal separation from Him. I am well aware of and stand in reverent fear of the power of our Almighty God and know that I will spend eternity in Heaven with Him, but I am still as human as human can be and am vulnerable to falling into sin because of that human, sinful nature. But I am redeemed through Christ and I praise God for his mercy!
Further, I believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)
I believe that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name, Jesus Christ, under heaven given to man by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 )
I believe “if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)
I believe “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
I believe that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” and can fully redeem and powerfully use even those who consider they have been “the worst.” (1 Timothy 1:15)
I believe God “is patient, not wanting any to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)
I believe that all scripture is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
I believe that every believer in Christ is the “temple of the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
I believe we have been “baptized by one Spirit into one body” (1 Corinthians 12:13) and recognize the value and equality of all members of the body of Christ. We are “all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:29)
I believe we have “different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:4)
I believe in the ongoing work of sanctification by the Holy Spirit after redemption for the purpose of producing life changing fruit — love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22)
I believe that the 66 books of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation are the exhaustive, inerrant and inspired word of God.
Matthew 28:18-20 : Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. ”
My mission is to help others become disciplined disciples of Jesus Christ. Because every person can learn something new each day within the pages of the Bible, anyone who seeks will experience God in Scripture, become spiritually mature, reap the blessings of a deeper relationship with Him, and have the assurance of Heaven. I pray you are blessed and He is praised! Especially I pray, Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory (Psalm 115:1) and further pray, "Not to ME, O Lord, not to ME but to YOUR name be the glory" because this is not at all about me but all about Him.
If You Are Searching for Peace and Forgiveness
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned... John 3:16-18
Jesus came to earth, died on the cross for our sins, and three days later rose from the grave. Because of His sacrifice, we are forgiven by God and can spend eternity in heaven with Him but we must make a choice to trust Jesus as our Savior. We must make the decision to put Him first, for "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
It is my joy and privilege to come alongside anyone who is searching. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to know where to begin if we haven't grown up hearing about Jesus. It can seem equally difficult if we have been told about Jesus but haven't asked him to come into our lives. If you'd like to do that and don't know how, I want to encourage you with this: it's not difficult, it's never too late, and you will not regret it!! God loves you! GOD loves you. God LOVES you. God loves YOU. Unconditionally. No matter how much you've messed up. Are you ready to make a change for the better? Are you ready to begin anew? Are you ready to begin experiencing true peace, "the peace of God, which transcends all understanding"(Philippians 4:7)? Then won't you pray this prayer with me?
Oh God, I want peace in my life and not peace that is fleeting, but that is everlasting. I can have that through your Son, Jesus, who you sent to pay the penalty for my sins. Thank you. I admit that I have done things that weren't right and I need your forgiveness. I want to turn from my sins and let go of the guilt. I want to begin living for you and I'll need your help to change. But I'm willing. Jesus I invite you to come into my life and heart as my Savior and Lord. Help me to be all that you created me to be. Amen.
If you have just prayed this prayer, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Because of your willingness to repent of your sins and rest on the sacrifice of Jesus, you are born again and assured of eternal life in Heaven. How exciting!! While this is a wonderful and important first step, I encourage you to continue to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ by seeking out a church that is grounded in the Bible as well as resources and other women of faith that will help you on your journey. And by all means, please let me know that you've invited Jesus into your life!!
